Enchanted
A soft drift from grey into gold, this painting captures the quiet spell of late light on the hills. Scribbled black and gold marks scatter across the surface like fleeting thoughts or the rustle of wind through dry grass. The composition leans toward asymmetry—stillness on one side, warmth and motion on the other—creating a gentle tension. It’s a moment suspended: textured, luminous, and alive with subtle energy. A glimpse of something just beyond the visible.
I use oil pastels, oil sticks, markers, scrapers, charcoal, and pigment sticks, as well as newspaper and graphite, to make marks that fit the moment.
UV protected, signed on the back. The work is on a plywood panel and is ready to hang. No further framing is needed.
