Dartmeet
A luminous convergence of currents and light, Dartmeet evokes the quiet drama of rivers meeting in hidden valleys. Vein-like tendrils of blue and violet branch across the canvas like water tracing ancient paths through stone, while soft greens and pale illumination suggest mist rising from the moor. The composition hums with quiet energy—electrical, organic, and elemental—capturing the moment where movement becomes stillness, where two flows become one. It is both map and memory, a meditation on connection and the unseen forces that shape the land.
I use oil pastels, oil sticks, markers, scrapers, charcoal, pigment sticks, newspaper, and graphite to make marks, whichever fits the moment
